A Gentle Dentist You Can Trust
Dr. Van Nguyen grew up in Hanoi, Vietnam and studied Medicine at Hanoi Medical University before migrating to Australia in 1998.
He graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Melbourne in 2004 and has worked both in private practice and hospital setting across Victoria, including Ballarat, Bairnsdale, St Albans, Pakenham and Rowville to gain experience in a variety of patient care environments.
Dr Van took over the clinic in 2010. His clinical interests include orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and dental implants.
Dr. Van’s advanced training and memberships include:
- A two-year advanced orthodontics course and a fellowship in Implantology at the University of Miami.
- ICCDE fellowship in Orthodontics.
- Membership in the Australian Dental Association with four to eight weeks of annual courses.
You will find Dr. Van is an extremely caring and gentle dentist who goes out of his way to help patients feel relaxed and comfortable. He is particularly good at helping nervous patients receive dental care and all treatments are fully personalised.
Outside dentistry, Dr. Van enjoys sports, gardening and spending time with his family. He has lived in Mulgrave since 2006 and loves being part of the friendly local community in Mulgrave and Noble Park North. His two children attend the local school.
